On September 2nd David Ronaldson in his 1-26, named Rosebud, landed out one field past the bull-rings during the Regionals. Michael Awad drove out to check on the pilot and help with the de-rigging. David currently holds the 1-26 trophy at Great Lakes Soaring and has challenged Michael to fly over to GLS to reclaim it for YSA.
Rosebud (C-G0CJ serial#585) is the sister ship to YSA's two 1-26s C-GOEI (serial#584) and C-GEMB (serial#586).
